guestrooms and suites are decorated in period antiques with luxurious accoutrements, from our fresh pressed 360 thread count linens, to glycerin soaps and complimentary conditioning shampoo, we strive to go the extra mile to make your stay perfect. Our exquisitely decorated rooms and suites all feature supplementary touches such as TV, DVD/CD players, A/C, plush Egyptian Cotton bath towels and extra blankets/pillows for your additional comfort. Some suites feature fireplaces and whirlpools, all guestrooms and suites feature private attached baths.

Overlooking our Victorian gardens, the French Garden Suite features its own private entrance with expansive covered porch for relaxing on those inviting evenings.  This romantic guest suite features a king size four-poster canopy bed, luxurious high-end linens, and a view of the fireplace right from the bed.  The two person whirlpool tub, with multiple underwater mood lighting settings, and your choice of pre-programmed water massage jets, will melt those daily stresses away in no time.  The extravagant shower with multiple body jets will have you and that special someone competing to get in first!  This suite also includes a large screen LCD TV/DVD, complimentary toiletries, and bath salts for the whirlpool.

Named for the owners of the house from just after the turn of the century through 1987, this is a large romantic fireplace/whirlpool suite overlooking the side yard gardens.  The DeLano suite features a very rare 1842 flame mahogany full tester canopy bed from an old antebellum mansion outside Lafayette Louisiana, made by the famed furniture maker Charles Lee, of New Orleans.  The bedroom suite includes accompanying bedside tables with period Victorian lighting, a breathtaking solid cedar lined French walnut armoire, fainting couch, plus a walnut cylinder-top desk and side chair for relaxing with a good book.  The room includes TV, and a DVD/CD player, with cable TV and WI/FI access for your laptop.  The bath pampers you with a generous sunflower showerhead, solid brass fixtures and in-room vanity converted from an antique Victorian walnut buffet.  The room also includes a luxurious two-person whirlpool with complimentary bath salts and toiletries.  Air conditioning levels are individually controlled in room.

Named after the original builder of the house, David Doane Davis, this is an elegant whirlpool suite overlooking the spacious west lawn and gardens.   With a private, attached full bath featuring pedestal sink and a luxurious two-person whirlpool, this gracious suite will create that romantic weekend or honeymoon retreat.  The Davis Suite is the only guestroom on the main floor of the house and features gleaming hardwood floors covered in antique Persian rugs of wool and silk.   The romantic Davis Suite ceilings soar 12-foot above a mahagony queen sized half canopy bed that itself is over 11' 6" tall.   The elaborate Italian Carrera marble fireplace (non-working), is topped by an 8' tall mirror carved with lions and inlaid with gold incising, which was purchased from a flat in Paris and shipped over to the States. Marble-topped bedside tables and period banquet lamps will create the romance of true Victoriana.  The ceilings and walls are papered in more than 20 different patterns from the famed Bradbury and Bradbury Company, which has graced many Victorian homes around the country, and will leave you in awe upon waking and just staring at the ceiling. The suite includes TV, and a DVD/CD player, with cable and WI/FI access is available for those who just can't seem to completely get away from it all.  Air conditioning levels are individually controlled in room.

Ten foot tall arched windows with the original wavy glass frame in beautiful views of our west yard and gardens from this breathtaking guestroom.  Named for the owners of the house from 1987 - 1998, this is an elegant guestroom with a large private, attached full bath.  The Ashley room features a beautifully carved walnut queen-sized Renaissance Revival bed and accompanying bedside table with period Victorian table lamp.  The walls and ceiling are papered in intricate patterns reproduced by Bradbury and Bradbury from the Victorian period to remind you of times past.  The soft glow of the lighting from a period chandelier will showcase the mirror finish of the hardwood floors which are covered in soft Persian wool rugs, as well as the sitting area with its two comfortable parlor chairs.   A marble-topped walnut dresser helps create the feeling of escaping the pressures of today without leaving today’s creature comforts behind.  On cooler nights, cozy up to the romantic glow of the in-room fireplace.  The room includes TV, a DVD/CD player, VCR and  cable.  The attached bath includes a full tub with shower and solid brass fixtures throughout, plus a spacious marble-top vanity with complimentary bath soaps and toiletries. Air conditioning levels are individually controlled in room.

Ascend the flowing staircase from the elegant front foyer and be greeted by the door of the Chaddock Guestroom. A gracious corner guestroom with views from two sides looking over our cast-iron fencing, and the historic neighborhood surrounding the Inn. Named for the owners of the house about the turn of the century, this is a gracious guestroom with private, attached bath. The Chaddock room is lit by a rare Bradley Hubbard cranberry chandelier from an Atlanta Ga. mansion and features an 1890's beautifully carved oak queen-size "tall" bed - the mattress is almost waist-high on most adults, with an ornately carved matching dresser and washstand! The guestroom includes accompanying bedside tables, with Victorian parlor lamp, plus a comfortable wing back chair with a reading lamp for relaxing with a good book. The bath features a large sunflower showerhead and solid brass fixtures, plus the original in-room antique corner sink with complimentary soaps and toiletries. The suite includes TV, a DVD/CD player, cable, and WI/FI access is available. Air conditioning levels are individually controlled in room.
