The Allen House Rooms
The historic Allen House, located next door to the Delano Mansion Inn, is named in fond memory of Allegan High School's beloved Algebra teacher, Mrs. Allen. The Allen House and The Delano Mansion Inn share a rich history including becoming united through marriage of members of the home's families, furthering the connection of these beautiful Allegan homes.
The blue tones of this unique room will inspire trips to our state's renowned lakes and rivers. The classic four poster King sized bed will leave you longing for more which we are happy to oblige. Stay two nights and if you desire, the third is on us.
The simple and classic French countryside decor of this first floor room will leave you dreaming of vineyards along the Rhine. While the King size poster bed will provide the perfect night's sleep, the comforting love seat will guarantee relaxation throughout your stay. Top off the room with a good book and hot beverage provided by the Inn to make sure your time in the Inn is everything your imagined.
Ascend the elegant staircase from the grand front foyer to the second-floor Chaddock Guestroom. A gracious corner guestroom with views from two sides, looking over our side gardens with our cast-iron fencing, and the historic neighborhood surrounding the Inn. Named for the owners of the house about the turn of the century, this is a gracious guestroom with private, attached bath.
When stepping into the Moore room, you are stepping into a garden. With flowers on the quilt and leaf green walls, you will be relaxed and enjoying your stay when you curl up and enjoy either a movie or good book. Bring a cup of coffee or water from the parlor and your visit will begin as you explore SW Michigan.
The classic four poster King sized bed will be the perfect setting for dreams of romance and an era gone by. After a relaxing night's sleep, you will arise to a home cooked breakfast in either the dining room or the front porch overlooking the neighborhood.
Stepping into the French Country of the Allen House. This room is perfect when traveling with children over 10 years old. The Allen room and the Margarite room share a bathroom.
