Ascend the elegant staircase from the grand front foyer to the second-floor Chaddock Guestroom. A gracious corner guestroom with views from two sides, looking over our side gardens with our cast-iron fencing, and the historic neighborhood surrounding the Inn. Named for the owners of the house about the turn of the century, this is a gracious guestroom with private, attached bath. The Chaddock Guestroom is lit by a rare Bradley Hubbard cranberry chandelier from an Atlanta, Georgia mansion and features an 1890's beautifully carved oak, queen-size "tall" bed - the mattress is almost waist-high on most adults, with an ornately carved matching dresser and washstand! The guestroom includes accompanying bedside tables with Victorian parlor lamp, plus a comfortable chair with a reading lamp for relaxing with a good book. The bath features a large sunflower showerhead and solid brass fixtures, plus the original in-room antique corner sink with complimentary soaps and toiletries. |
